Bored Piers are drilled with a circular augur, cleaned out and reinforcement cages are placed and filled with concrete. Bored piers are used where soil conditions are classified as stable and water table isn’t present.

Continuous flight augur piles are installed in unstable soil conditions where sand or a shallow water table is present. Holes are augured to the correct depth, then concrete is pumped into the hole while the auger is removed ensuring that the holes do not collapse. Piling logs are recorded with GH computer to monitor and record the entire process including depth and concrete placement.

CFA piling is used in Continuous pile walls, Solider pile wall and Secant pile wall.

Our CFA Piling rig is suited to drill 300, 450 , 600,750and 900 diameter piles to a depth of 18m with concrete pump and associated machinery.
